CINOT (Children in Need of a Treatment) or Healthy Smiles Program.
The CINOT program pays for urgent dental care for children with serious dental problems. Your child may be part of this program if they are:
- under 18 years of age;
- and have dental pain, infection, large cavities or bleeding gums.
And if you:
- do not have dental insurance;
- and can not pay for your child to go to the dentist.
Is All Dental Care Covered?
No. Only basic care is covered. This includes fillings, x-rays, taking out teeth, and some root canal treatments. Cleanings and braces are not covered.
